Kathy & I ventured to Newburyport - a town with quite a lengthy name which lies on the coast north of Boston, very close to the New Hampshire border - for the occasion of our two year anniversary. There wasn't a real reason to visit Newburyport specifically, other than we wanted to get away from the city by ourselves and Newburyport was one of the few places on the commuter rail I hadn't yet ventured. It was a great way to a) have a simple, good time away from anything connected to our Boston, responsible lives b) eat a lot of food and take a lot of pictures and c) enjoy the last remnants of the New England fall.
