We stayed with our good friends Kim & Cliff in Eugene in the spring of 2007 on our whirlwind Portland/Eugene/LA west coast visit. Although the title of this gallery is Eugene, there are really not many pictures of downtown Eugene, but mostly the beautiful nature which surrounds it. This includes a hike up Spencer's Butte (which I believe is actually in Eugene) and a slightly longer trek east into the Willamette National Forest. Now that we are living in Portland, I hope to be taking more trips down south to visit Kim & Cliff and to explore the surrounding environs, & so like all of my other Oregon galleries, I hope this one only expands.
