arkansas & texas

In the winter of 2000, when I was still in high school, I accompanied my brother on a cross country trip to California. He was on his way to LA; I was just along for the ride, and would fly back to Pennsylvania once we arrived. Although I had done a good amount of traveling around the East Coast via family vacations, I'd never really been very far west, and the trip kind of - get ready for a cliche - changed my life, by instilling in me 1) a great respect for this country and 2) a restlessness and desire to just keep on traveling for the rest of my life. I suspect neither things will probably ever go away, or at least I hope not.

We took the southern route, and some pictures from the Ozarks in Arkansas were the first ones that stood out for me to put on this site. This gallery, you will notice, is somewhat pathetically small, so I apologize, but hopefully I'll add onto it eventually.
