One of those hollowed out sequoias you could drive a car through. In consideration of how awe-inspiring the sequoias really are, a picture of a dead, hollowed-out one really isn't good enough, so I apologize. Sequoias were what solidified my love for Yosemite. Or perhaps my brother put it in better, simpler terms: In order to reach this particular grove of sequoias, you had to abandon your car and walk over a mile. Even though our time was extremely limited, we decided to go for it, and as we started down the trail, my brother commented, "I can't believe I'm going to walk for a half hour just to see a tree." And then, on the way back to the car: "That was one of the coolest things I've ever seen in my life. And it was a tree!"
