On the train, you could sit in an open car or a car with windows, and we opted for the open car first because it obviously seemed so much cooler, like riding on the top of a double-decker bus in London - the wind can blow your hair and you can lean out to really look at things, as these people in the very right of this picture are doing. We soon learned, however, as they had warned us, that in the open cars there is the danger of soot from the engine car blowing into your face, which ended up causing some very sore eyes for us.
