Durango's biggest tourist attraction is its narrow gauge railroad, an oldschool train that cuts along scarily high and precipitous mountain scenery. It runs from Durango to the tiny mountain town of Silverton, and it was one of the coolest things I've done. This was taken near the beginning of the multiple-hour journey, on our way out of town before we really plunged into the mountains. Unfortunately not too many of my b&w photos from this trip came out too well, but it's my own fault because I didn't have my Canon on the appropriate settings - you live, you learn, especially when it comes to photography.
